Research 

Dr. Kim joined the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at IIT in 2009. She was an Assistant Professor in the department of Information and Communications Engineering at Inha University in South Korea prior to joining IIT. Her research interests include error-resilient video coding, distributed video coding, video streaming, thee-dimensional video representation and transmission, video analysis, and computer vision.
