The Department of Civil, Architectural, and Environmental Engineering (CAEE) at Armour College has a hundred-year-long tradition of educating engineers to design, build, and maintain the infrastructure systems that allow societies to function. To prepare our graduates to address the myriad challenges in engineering new and existing infrastructure, we offer bachelor degree programs in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Engineering Management; master degree programs in several areas of specialization within CAEE (including a number of co-terminal master degree programs); and Doctor of Philosophy degree programs in Civil Engineering and Environmental Engineering. We also offer several graduate certificate programs designed to introduce students to the fundamental core of a specialization area and serve as a gateway to our master programs. Our primary areas of specialization in both teaching and research include Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Engineering Graphics, Environmental Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Structural Engineering, and Transportation Engineering/Public Works. Our body of over 400 students are active in a number of student organizations and our graduates are leaders in the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry around the world.
