Local and Wide Area Networks (Ethernet, FDDI, Wireless LAN, ATM and Internet). LAN and Wan interconnection using bridges, routers, switchers and gateways. Routing in data networks. Network and protocol design to support multimedia and multicasting connections. Network application security.
