The Electric and Computer Engineering Department will be presenting ECE Day, this Friday, April 13 in Siegle Hall. We have over 60 students presenting their research in a Poster Competition in the following six areas of research: Power Electronics, Pwer Systems, Computernetworks and Communications, Signal and Image Processing. Digital Systems and VLSI and Electonics and Electromagnetics.
ECE Day is also when we host the ECE External Advisory Board (EAB). Members of the board will meet with the ECE faculty, tour, our laboratories and centers and partake in the student research competition. The day culminates with the announcement of the poster winners and a talk by one of our EAB Members and ECE Alum, Dr. Bill Cordoso. Dr. Cordoso is founder and CEO of his company Creative Electron, and his talk is titled, “How to Know if You Should Start Your Own Business.”
